American Wildlife Foundation was created to preserve and restore wildlife throughout the United States. Understanding the importance of biodiversity & habitat protection, we set out to create an organization that would focus on land conservation and ecological restoration as a means to protect and restore wildlife populations in America.

Acting as both a fund and an implementation partner of conservation projects, American Wildlife Foundation uses its donor resources to raise crucial dollars for critical conservation needs.
At American Wildlife Foundation we partner with corporations and private donors throughout the country to come up with innovative solutions to some of the most complex issues facing wildlife today.
With a strong understanding of both conservation and finance our team works with private donors and socially responsible corporations to accept tax exempt donations. As a 501(c)(3) organization our staff works with our donation partners to meet their tax donation needs as well as their own sustainability initiatives.
Our conservation strategies include land conservation, habitat protection, endangered species protection, wildlife repopulation, wildlife travel corridors, stream and wetland restoration, dam removal and many other solutions.
Tim founded American Wildlife Foundation in 2022 behind the belief that the conservation community needed an additional nonprofit working on meaningful ecological restoration and land conservation projects on a national scale. With a strong background in real estate, finance and conservation, Tim brings over 12 years of professional experience to the table.
Prior to founding American Wildlife Foundation, Tim was a Division Manager at RES the nation's leading provider of ecological restoration solutions. Tim founded the Maryland office in 2016 and then moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2020 to manage the Southeast Land Division of the company. There he was responsible for all real estate transactions occurring for stream and wetland mitigation, water quality projects and stormwater solutions.
In his tenure, Tim has completed ecological restoration projects in MD, VA, TN, TX, WV, NC, SC and PA and has experience working with regulatory authorities, county municipalities, and highway administrations in each state. To date in his career Tim has acquired property for and helped in the planning and design of the restoration of over 200,000 linear feet of stream, 1,000 acres of tidal / nontidal wetlands and 800 acres of endangered species habitat.
Tim resides in Charleston, South Carolina with his wife Silvia where they live a life close to nature. When he is not working you can find him enjoying the beach or hiking with his yellow lab Townes.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization we rely on donations from wildlife warriors like yourself to fund our stewardship work.
